BiP Solutions Services: Government Opportunities
Government Opportunities (GO) magazine is the UK's leading authority on all issues relating to public procurement, and is essential reading for anyone involved in either buying for or supplying to the public sector.
Published nine times a year, GO magazine has also diversified into an online procurement information resource; an annual Awards ceremony; and a provider of procurement-related conferences.
GO magazine launched in October 1999, and with a readership in excess of 30,000 each month has established a reputation for providing unrivalled insight and analysis into the complex world of public procurement. Its contributors include many of the leading figures within the procurement sector, from both government and industry. The publication recently received a Highly Commended accolade in the Business and Professional Magazine of the Year category at the PPA Scotland Excellence in Magazine Publishing Awards.
The launch of the annual GO National Excellence in Public Procurement Awards in 2003 saw innovation and achievement in the sector recognised in such a way for the first time. The GO Awards are now the most coveted within public procurement, with entries received from all areas of the public, private and third sectors. The GO Awards Scotland were launched in 2008, and were also a resounding success.
The GO procurement website, launched in 2006, provides visitors with access to editorial features and a range of other procurement resources.
2008 saw the launch of the GO Conferences brand, which brings GO's unrivalled knowledge and experience of public procurement to bear in a live and interactive environment. Featuring expert speakers from across the sector, GO Conferences provide delegates with thought-provoking insights into the big issues affecting public procurement in the UK and abroad, and deliver the information they need to make effective and informed decisions.
GO is free upon request for those directly employed by public sector organisations in a procurement-orientated role (terms of controlled circulation apply).
Suppliers can subscribe to GO for just £55 for nine issues.
